The bar behind the site
Le Tripot d’Edmonde — this site — is the online extension of Les Folies d’Edmonde, a cocktail bar set in a 17th-century vaulted cellar in the heart of Vieux-Nice (Old Nice). The games you see here (Oh Hell / Whist, Chinese Checkers) are also played in person, around a real table.
Where to find us
16 rue Benoît Bunico, 06300 Nice, down a small alley in Nice Old Town, a 4-minute walk from Cours Saleya. The bar is open every day from 6 pm to 12:30 am.
The game table
From 6 pm, the team, regulars and friends of Les Folies often open a game table, usually between 6 pm and 7:30 pm. Whist is the main game, with Chinese Checkers now and then. At the bar, say you are here for the game table: the team will tell you whether a game is underway or about to start. If you book, write “game table” in your request.
For groups
Online booking takes 1 to 20 people. For larger groups, up to 50 people, the cellar or the whole venue can be hired privately: send your request from the bar’s private hire page, and the team answers by email within 24 hours.
