Audience measurement and error reports: you have not chosen yet. Nothing is sent.

Data controller

Les Folies d’Edmonde, SARL, 16 rue Benoît Bunico, 06300 Nice, France (SIREN 910 148 030), which runs the bar and this site. For any question about your data: bonjour@lesfoliesdedmonde.com.

On your device

Your settings (language, theme, sound), games in progress, statistics, achievements, nickname and audience-measurement choice are kept in your browser’s storage. They leave your device only in the cases described below. Clearing the site’s data in your browser deletes them.

Audience measurement, with your consent

If you give your consent, in the banner or under “Privacy”, the game sends usage events to its server: site opened (with the campaign parameters of the link that brought you, if any), your consent, game started, finished or left in both games (game, mode, level, number of colours or players, result, rank, score, turns, duration), hint and undo requests, the daily challenge (started, finished, objective met or not, score, progress towards the weekly goal), the weekly goal reached, the tutorial (started, finished, skipped), achievements earned, a result shared, a click on a link to the bar (placement, page opened, game, result), online play steps (tab opened, room created or joined, opponent found, game started, rematch offered or played, failure with its step and its reason), theme and language changes, an email address linked, the Salon offer viewed, pages viewed (address, language, referring site). They carry a random install identifier, created when you consent and kept in your browser to count returns from one day to the next, an identifier tied to the open tab and, if you play online, your guest account identifier. Without your consent, nothing is sent, and neither the install identifier nor the tab identifier is created. You can withdraw your consent at any time under “Privacy”, at the top of this text or in each game’s settings: sending stops at once and both identifiers are deleted from your browser. Only with your consent, starting a Chinese Checkers game also adds a line with no identifier to a game counter: the game mode and the time.

Error reports, with your consent

With the same consent, the game’s errors are sent to Sentry, our error-tracking tool: the error and where it occurred, the browser and system, the page concerned. The game attaches no IP address, cookie or identity.

Online play

To play online, the game opens an anonymous guest account, with no email or password. Your nickname and the game’s connection codes, which contain your device’s network addresses, go through our server to match the players; a room expires after 20 minutes, after which it is deleted from the server. The game is then played over a direct connection: your IP address is visible to the other player, to Google’s STUN servers that help set up the connection and, if a direct connection fails, to a relay server.

Your guest account

It keeps your nickname and, when online saving is on, your online game in progress. If you link an email address to it, the address is stored to send you the confirmation link.

Service providers

The site is hosted by Netlify. The game server (guest accounts, rooms, audience measurement) is provided by Supabase, error reports by Sentry. We pass on no data for advertising and sell none.

How long

What is kept on your device stays there until you delete it. Server data is kept as long as needed for online play and to improve the game; you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing, by writing to bonjour@lesfoliesdedmonde.com. To change your audience-measurement choice, open “Privacy” in a game’s settings or at the top of this text: you give or withdraw your consent there in one tap. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
